Keeping More Of Your Money By Getting Free Stuff

ITS FREE

With financial times being hard and more and more people becoming unemployed , things are looking a little grim.  For some they are really struggling, however there are some people out there who are just cutting back and keeping their fingers crossed.  In any case, no matter who you are or what type of life you are living, there obviously have to be some changes with prices rising and less and less companies and people being able to keep their heads above water.  Well, I have just come across some very good ideas for getting things and and giving them away for nothing.  I have found a web site called freecycle.org, and this site does listings for people just giving things away.  The things that people are getting rid of vary from home furnishings to bags of old newspapers, and the most amazing thing is that pretty much everything goes.  There is also a way to put on what you are looking for, however you are only encouraged to put a wanted ad up about once a week.  This site is really for those looking to unload.  Some things are old, but some are in excellent shape and the best thing they are all absolutely free for the picking up.  The groups on this site are divided up into areas and so you choose an area close to where you live, so that you can easily exchange with others in your area.  It is incredible.  I have only been a member for a few days, and there are lots of good things that have been listed just in that short a period.

This site is not meant to barter or trade, it is solely for those looking to give away stuff, or get stuff for free.  Some of the best items I have i got for free and that was even before joining this site.  For instance a friend of mine was getting rid of the stuff in her father’s house for him, and I got a chest freezer for free and had it delivered and put in place for nothing also.  I also got a couch for nothing, a dining room set for free, and got a foosball table in exchange for some massage chairs one time.  There are lots of opportunities available, and this site helps put them all together.  So be sure to tell your family and friends to get online and check it out.

Financial Times Are They Worse Than We Think

It seems that although trying to report the facts, the news media is being told to keep a positive spin on the financial world, and focus on the positive as opposed to the negative when it comes to money matters.  Unfortunately, as the end of the year figures become public, there is no where for American’s to hide, we are in some serious trouble.  Unemployment statistics are rising each month, sales in all the major retailers are down, and people who have their money in the stock market are panicking and with good reason.  Yesterday, Barack Obama addressed the country talking about the financial crisis and said that Congress must act quickly to put a plan into effect or things are going to plummet.  I don’t think that Congress knows how to act quickly, and I also think that they are at a loss as to what to do.  I don’t know that the incoming President has all the answers, as a matter of fact, I don’t think that anyone does.  It is like when you overspend for years, and then you lose your job, basically we are up a creek.  All the bailouts in the whole world are not going to stop us from going into a Depression in this country.  You can’t just undo all the mistakes that have been made overnight, and no one should expect that from anyone including the new president.  The one thing that I know is that we need to start tightening the belts on spending all around.  There is no need for spending money like we do in this country, and it is really time for us to look at our “budget” which is far from balanced and stop spending money that we don’t have.  This country does not need small cutbacks, we need to cut back in all areas and start using the excess to knock down some of this debt that we have accumulated.  It won’t happen overnight, but working together with a clear understanding of the hole that we all collectively have created, means we start to put this horrible financial crisis behind us.

It may be a long haul for the American public, but we can all do our part.  Volunteer time, money or whatever resources you have to help others if you are not one of the one’s in need.  You could need help in the future, so keep in mind that what you put out there comes back to you ten fold.  We need to help each other, just like we did following 9/11.  We need to unite and show the world what American’s are made of, and it isn’t money.

Why Is The Green Paper So Important To Us?

Finances are on everyone’s mind these days, from the rich to the poor, we are all concerned about the financial standing of our country and of our families, but when did this green paper become so important.

With financial times being difficult more and more people will turn to crime, drugs, alcohol. More and more people will go to counseling and get divorced and my question is still why? Have we become a society so driven by the dollar that without it we will just crumble? The answer to that is very simply yes.

While some of us are just worrying about how we are going to make ends meet and pay for the essentials to sustain our families, some of us are actually in a worse financial situation. The rich will feel this financial crunch too, because unlike the poor in this country, who realize that we will just have to generate more income to survive, the rich, who have based their existences primarily on the stock market, the real estate market, and credit cards and loans, will probably be hit even harder than the poor. The lifestyle changes that they will need to undergo to survive this rocky road, will be a much bigger adjustment for them. They will have to give up living on credit and will have to find ways of generating an income through the necessity avenues in this country. They will have to find ways to invest money now in businesses that will be able to survive the financial rough patch, and that could be difficult for many wealthy people.

If you are worried about the financial future of your family, then take action now to sustain your family, we can live without a lot of what we have, we just need to begin to realize the difference between true necessity items and luxury items.
